FORS Compliance Systems
Being FORS Accredited is the easiest way to showcase your commitment to maintaining the highest possible Road safety standards – an attractive prospect for all key stakeholders, including staff and customers.
FORS also provides separate training specifically for fleet managers to help them optimise the value they add to their organisation.
Below is an explanation of each FORS standard and ACSS suggested equipment.
ACSS FORS COMPLIANCE
FORS Bronze accreditation
- Confirms that you employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard.
- This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.
ACSS Bronze FORS compliant package includes:
- 7″ Dash Monitor (options available)
- HD Heavy Duty Rear Camera
- HD Blind Spot Side Camera
- Signal Indicator Switch
FORS Silver accreditation
- Confirms that you employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard.
- By achieving FORS Silver accreditation your fleet will be compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).
ACSS Silver FORS compliant package includes:
- Bronze package plus:
- Left Indicator ‘Vehicle turning’ audible alarm
- Set of side or corner sensors (as required)
- Low Speed Indicator
- Reversing Alarm (standard or night silent)
FORS Gold accreditation
- Requires best practice measures. It includes promoting the FORS Standard through your supply chain
- Demonstrating meaningful improvements against the baseline data gathered in FORS Silver.
ACSS Gold+ FORS compliant package includes:
- Silver package plus:
- HD Forward Facing camera
- HD driver side camera
- 1 TB MDVR (4 channels)
