ACSS will demonstrate its Sentinel System live at Road Transport Expo 2026, taking place from 30 June to 2 July 2026.
Visitors will see how Sentinel uses AI video intelligence to help fleet operators protect parked HGVs, trailers, vans and commercial vehicles from fuel theft, curtain slashing, cargo interference, vandalism and tampering.
Sentinel is a standalone intelligent camera system that delivers continuous video monitoring while a vehicle is in use and extends protection after it has been parked and switched off. It monitors high-risk areas such as fuel tanks, trailer curtains, doors and cargo access points, detects suspicious activity, and sends alerts with recorded video evidence through the live-view platform. In low-power mode, Sentinel can provide up to 90 days of post-ignition monitoring, giving fleet operators longer-lasting protection when vehicles are unattended.
Fuel theft and cargo crime remain serious risks for UK fleet operators, especially when vehicles are parked overnight, during driver rest periods or at unattended locations. Curtain-sided trailers are particularly exposed to forced access and cargo theft, while fuel theft and tampering can cause costly disruption, vehicle damage, delayed deliveries and unplanned downtime.
At the ACSS stand, visitors can see Sentinel in live operation and learn how it detects potential fuel theft, trailer curtain interference, suspicious intrusion and vehicle tampering. The demonstration will show how Sentinel sends early alerts and recorded video evidence to fleet operators, helping them review incidents quickly and act before theft or damage occurs.
“Parked vehicles are most exposed when they are left unattended,” said an ACSS spokesperson. “Sentinel gives fleet operators the visibility they need to spot threats sooner and respond faster to theft, tampering and damage.”
Sentinel brings together AI detection, low-light video recording and remote live-view access in a low-power standalone system. With up to 90 days of post-ignition monitoring, it helps protect vehicles long after the engine is switched off.
Key Sentinel features include:
· AI detection of suspicious activity around parked vehicles
· Fuel tank monitoring to help identify potential theft
· Detection of curtain slashing, cargo interference and forced access
· Vehicle touch, tamper and intrusion alerts
· Monitoring of high-risk areas around trailers, doors and cargo access points
· Instant alerts with recorded video evidence
· Low-light recording for overnight and poorly lit locations
· Remote access through the live-view platform
· Low-power operation with up to 90 days of post-ignition monitoring
· Streamlined alert handling to support faster response and investigation
Visitors to RTX 2026 are invited to visit the ACSS stand to see Sentinel operating live and discuss how it can strengthen parked vehicle security across their fleet.
